Every ‘mum to be’ deserves to capture these precious memories of her beautiful bumps and curves. Photographing your baby bump is a special way to capture that pregnancy glow so that you can not only remember how you looked and felt being pregnant but also it will allow you to share this magical time, with your unborn child in the many years to come. Pregnancy shoots normally take place around week 36 – 38 but can be done as early as 32 weeks. I aim to capture these moments in a natural, fresh, comfortable, and fun way. Family members are encouraged to join in too, especially older brothers/sisters, it's a great way for them to help mummy and daddy celebrate the imminent arrival of a new sibling. What to wear? Colour & comfort is my motto. The pattern is also a good thing to add an element of pop to a photo. I often tell families to pick 3-4 colours that tie everyone together, and the same goes for a baby bump shoot – An example: navy, turquoise, yellow, and lime green. Sometimes we even incorporate the colours of the nursery as a starting point. I also recommend wearing something more on the form-fitting side – a dress, a long skirt with a fitted tank, statement necklace, and a bright cardigan. We want to see the bump but also be comfortable doing it. Comfort translates through the camera in an extremely good way. More artistic, intimate images can also be captured at your request.

The best time to photograph a newborn is within the first two weeks after being born. This is the time that they are at their sleepiest making it easier to position and move them into those oh so cute baby poses. A new-born session will usually last anywhere between 2-3 hours. This allows time for feeding the baby and any necessary breaks. A clam baby takes a wonderful picture, so we need to ensure they are as comfortable as possible. Sometimes it can take several minutes to soothe your baby or get them into the pose that I am looking for. The morning time is the best time to schedule a newborn session since this is the time of day that most babies are happiest.

    The price includes:

Don't those three words sound like fun?! There's something really adorable about cake smashing photos, you can not help but smile seeing a baby squish and squash a beautifully decorated cake and it's a lovely memory to capture to look back on. Originating from the US, a cake smash is traditionally done either just before a baby turns one for the party invites or as part of the baby's birthday celebration. It's often the first time the child has eaten any cake, and the first time they've been allowed to do whatever they want with it, whether it's face-planting into it, putting icing in their hair, or knocking the whole thing over then crawling through it! These photos shoot normally last an hour but remember to add extra time to wash the baby after as these sessions do get rather messy!

    The price includes:

Up to 2 hours photoshoot. All props provided. 4 set up, Portfolio, Chef, Smash, Bath, Bed, and family images on a high key white background. A private online gallery is available for download via 'SmugMug': Watermarked proofs of all the images captured during the session in colour, low resolution.15   edited printable images, of your choice, in colour, black & white, and sepia along with a print release so you can download and print wherever and as often as you wish.

Families are always growing and changing. Children grow up, new additions arrive and older relatives pass away, so it is important to capture these moments while they are there. Especially when children are young, it can feel as if they are growing up so fast that you are missing out on this beautiful period of playful innocence. Childrens photographs capture these precious memories and preserve them forever, so you can always look back on happy times together.

Grandma and Grandpa aren’t always top of mind when it comes to family photos. It’s easy for us to get caught up in just getting them done, especially when you have kids that may not be thrilled about photos to start with. But don’t let that be you. There are plenty of reasons why grandparents should be in your family photos! They're a huge part of your kids' lives. There's nothing like going to visit Nana and Papa! We want to believe that our grandparents are invincible, but the reality is, they won’t be around forever. So it’s important during these precious years that you take the time to enjoy them and build memories. While our grandparents can’t stay with us forever, we can keep a photograph for generations. You’ll be thankful for that time and memory when you’re looking back.

So, make sure you capture them with your kids as a gift, it will be one that will grow more valuable each and every day!

'In The Box Shoot' - Starting from £130

Looking for something different and unique to capture and display as your annual family portrait?  Why not consider a Box Photo? Box photography is a fairly new trend in creative portraiture. It involves the construction of one large box in which a variety of photos are captured. The best shots are singled out and placed together in Photoshop. This composite gives the appearance of one large stack of cubes. It’s even more fun if it looks like the subjects in the box are interacting with one another.

    Boudoir Shoot - £150

Boudoir helps a woman celebrate herself, and see herself through someone else's eyes. I always like to think of my clients looking back at their photos when they are 90, and smiling about their beautiful youth! This is a very empowering experience.

The reasons that women book a boudoir shoot vary from Bridal Boudoir in order to give their groom a wedding gift, to celebrate key birthdays – turning 30, 40, 50, 60! Weight loss Illness – particularly recovering from something like breast cancer or post natal depression Self-esteem issues due to a relationship ending or surviving the first few years of motherhood. Because you deserve it.
